1. Seller identity
The HopOn service is operated by HOPON SOLUTIONS S.A., a French simplified joint-stock company with share capital of €100, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 934 517 582, SIRET 934 517 582 00011, VAT FR73934517582, with registered office at 60 rue François Ier, 75008 Paris, France.
Commercial enquiries, support and complaints: contact@hopon.fr.
2. Scope and acceptance
These terms apply to the use of hopon.fr and to every purchase or top-up of a HopOn eSIM. The Customer must read and expressly accept them before payment. The accepted version and acceptance date are recorded with the order.
The contract is formed between HOPON SOLUTIONS S.A. and the Customer when payment is confirmed. The Customer must be at least 18 years old or have permission from a legal representative.
3. Service description
HopOn sells prepaid mobile data plans for the destinations and periods shown before purchase. The technical service relies on Transatel solutions and available partner mobile networks.
Plans are data-only unless expressly stated otherwise: they do not provide a standard telephone number, voice calls, SMS or emergency calls. There is no commitment or automatic renewal.
4. Device compatibility
Before purchase, the Customer must check that the device supports eSIM and is unlocked. Compatibility may vary by model, country of purchase and manufacturer.
The QR code is personal. It must not be shared or published. Deleting an installed profile may make reinstallation impossible.
5. Plans, coverage and activation
The destination, data allowance, validity, total price and plan details are displayed before purchase. Available plans may change.
The eSIM may be installed before departure. Unless stated otherwise, the plan activates when it first connects to a covered network at the destination. Coverage, speed and 4G/5G availability depend on the local network, location, device and congestion; no permanent minimum speed is guaranteed.
6. Order and payment
The Customer provides a valid name and email address, checks the order and pays through Stripe’s secure interface. HopOn does not receive the full card number. The order is final only after payment confirmation.
Prices are shown in euros including applicable taxes. A paid invoice is sent by email. HopOn may cancel and fully refund an order in the event of an obvious pricing error, unavailability or suspected fraud.
7. Digital delivery
After payment confirmation, HopOn prepares the order and sends the QR code or installation information and invoice to the supplied email address. The Customer should check spam folders and contact support if the message does not arrive.
The Customer is responsible for the accuracy of the email address and confidentiality of installation details.
8. Top-up without an account
Where technically available, an existing HopOn eSIM can be topped up without creating an account. The Customer verifies the purchase email using a temporary code. The plan is added to the selected profile and normally requires no new QR code.
9. Withdrawal and refunds
Consumers generally have a statutory 14-day withdrawal period for distance contracts. During checkout, the Customer expressly requests immediate digital supply and acknowledges that the withdrawal right may be lost once supply begins, where permitted by law.
Before supply starts, a withdrawal request may be sent to contact@hopon.fr with the order number. A supplied, installed, activated or consumed eSIM or top-up is not refundable merely because travel plans changed or because a device confirmed as compatible is locked or incompatible. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. If a confirmed technical fault attributable to the service cannot be resolved or replaced, HopOn will provide the appropriate refund.
10. Permitted use
The service must be used lawfully and according to these terms and technical instructions. Fraudulent, abusive, harmful or security-threatening use is prohibited. HopOn or the technical provider may suspend service for security, maintenance, fraud prevention or legal compliance.
11. Liability
HopOn uses reasonable care to provide the service. It is not responsible for failures caused by an incompatible or misconfigured device, an uncovered area, a third-party network, necessary maintenance, force majeure or misuse. Nothing excludes mandatory consumer rights.
12. Personal data
Processing for orders, payments, delivery, top-ups and support is described in the Privacy Policy.
13. Intellectual property
The HopOn name, logo, text, interface and graphics are protected. Unauthorised reproduction or exploitation is prohibited. Third-party marks remain the property of their owners.
14. Complaints and mediation
Complaints should first be sent to contact@hopon.fr with the order number and relevant information. HopOn will reply as soon as reasonably possible.
To be completed before final commercial opening: HOPON SOLUTIONS S.A. must appoint a French consumer mediator and publish the mediator’s name, address and website here.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Mandatory consumer protection and jurisdiction rules remain applicable. If one clause is invalid, the remaining clauses continue to apply.
16. Changes
HopOn may update these terms for future orders. The version accepted before payment applies to the order.
